There is a lack of real-life, evidence-based nutrition resources dedicated to those who work rotating shifts and their families. 

We're here to change that.  


Our registered dietitians are intimately familiar with the world of shift work.  

The nutrition services are both backed by research and tested in the real-life kitchens of our homes.

Nikole Tattrie, BSc, RDN

Nikole is a Registered Dietitian with over ten years of experience supporting clients of all ages in hospital, outpatient, and long-term care settings. 


She’s a proud mom of two girls who loves running, writing, and exploring local hiking trails and coffee shops.


Growing up in Saskatchewan but now calling Ontario home, Nikole understands what it means to be flexible and adaptable in both life and nutrition. 


Her work has shown her the importance of not only meeting individual nutrition goals, but also supporting the entire family—especially moms, whom she calls “the ultimate shift workers.”


Having been a full-time corporate employee, a stay-at-home mom, and the spouse of an RCMP member, she understands firsthand the challenges of navigating work schedules and finding balance at home.


She is passionate about using food as a tool for health and for building meaningful connections in families, especially amidst constant change.


Food is about connecting, being creative, and nourishing our bodies. 

 Nikole brings creative ideas back to your kitchens to connect families and support their health.

Raina Beugelink, BSc, RDN, founder of Shift Work Nutrition

 Raina is a registered dietitian who brings her 12 years of experience in nutrition education to her shift-working family across Canada.


As an RCMP spouse and mom, Raina noticed firsthand the impact of shift work, both for the shift-worker and the family. 


Shift Work Nutrition was born out of a desire for evidence-based, real-life nutrition strategies to support those working nights.  


Food is what fuels us and connects us, but unfortunately, it's also sometimes what confuses or controls us.  


Raina strives to bring clarity to what to eat and when to eat it as a shift worker, with simple, effective, evidence-based nutrition strategies.  


 She strongly believes our physical health is connected to our mental health, which is connected to our spiritual and emotional health.  


She operates from faith-based principles, rooted in the Bible and Christianity, believing that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (even if we're exhausted and running strictly on caffeine).
